500ml Bottle. Beautifully black in colour with a tan head, this rich and full bodied stout has an aroma and flavour of cinder toffee, chocolate and caramel with a roasty finish. ABV 7.2, IBU 68.
Please note – the ABV came in a bit lower than we expected after the brewing process. Our labels say 8.0%, when it is in fact 7.2%
The Black Is Beautiful Initiative is a collaborative effort amongst the worldwide brewing community and its customers, in an attempt to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of colour face daily. Weathered Souls Brewing in San Antonio, TX, founded the initiative and provided a recipe template for an Imperial Stout that breweries can get creative with.
100% of the proceeds from this brew are being donated to Black Legal Action Centre- a non-profit organization based in Toronto dedicated to providing legal services to low/no income black residents in Ontario as well as many other vital services.
